Today we were at our Mom's Club meeting and Evan was burning off his sugar rush (from all the yummy snacks we have at the meeting) running around like the Tazmanian Devil (and I'm not really even exaggerating!) when I noticed that he's headed outside. I went into overdrive and ran for the door which was quickly closing on his little hand and instead of saving him from injury and a potential run around the parking lot I swung the door open too quickly and smacked him in the forehead. He was actually turning around to come back in - who would think he'd LISTEN to me???? So now, he has yet another bruise and at lunch he was complaining that he had a headache!
